2 · General sales terms

The complete general sales terms (October 2018 edition) are governed by Belgian law and apply to all purchases made through www.ravel-edition.com. Below is a summary; for the legally-binding version, please consult the French version.

Key points

  • Prices: in EUR, all taxes included, shipping not included.
  • Delivery times: indicative only — delays do not entitle the buyer to cancellation or compensation. Goods travel at the buyer's risk.
  • Property reserve: goods remain the seller's property until full payment.
  • Payment: in EUR, net at the registered office, no discount. Invoices payable within 8 days. Late payment penalty: 15% (min. €50).
  • Warranty: limited to replacement of defective goods (no refund). Defects must be reported by registered mail within 8 calendar days.
  • Right of withdrawal: private buyers have 14 calendar days to withdraw, only if products are unopened. Return shipping at buyer's expense.
  • Liability: best-effort obligation. Products comply with Belgian law; the buyer must check importation rules in their country.
  • Note: Boléro is still under copyright protection in certain territories including the USA.
  • Applicable law & jurisdiction: Belgian law; Hal-Vilvorde court district.
